Lost Sierra Food Project’s on-farm volunteer program is designed to provide community members with safe, hands-on learning about regenerative agriculture, cultivate community, and connect people to their food.

Our volunteers contributions have a huge impact and help us keep the local, fresh produce coming.

Volunteer with us

  • Our volunteer program lasts from May-October.

    Join us on Wednesday mornings, between 8 am to 11 am.

  • Please wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothes. Bring a water bottle and SPF. Snacks are provided. Review our Volunteer Manual below for more info.

Join Our Board

We are interested in people with all kinds of skills and backgrounds. Fundraising, capital management, human resources, working with or coming from communities of diverse or disadvantaged backgrounds, and marketing are just some of the areas of expertise we seek. You don’t need any experience growing food!  

Open board seats for the Lost Sierra Food Project (LSFP) Board of Directors are on an as-needed rolling basis, provided that there are at least five board members at all times.

The Board of Directors serves a critical role in overseeing and guiding our organization. Board members attend quarterly board meetings and meetings of at least one Board committee, as necessary.
