  • Instructor: Presley Alexander

    Learn to simplify the art of floral painting. With inspiration from the farm, we will practice looking at the simple form of flowers to create loose, impressionistic paintings. All supplies are ready for you as well as a pallet and brush to take along to continue your practice.

    Gain some inspiration and pick up some cooking skills from expert chef Sean Conry. Sean is the FRC culinary instructor and has years of experience teaching culinary arts. Using farm fresh produce from Rugged Roots farm, he'll demonstrate how to incorporate fresh produce easily into simple, elegant meals.

Join us for a series of events for kids on Rugged Roots farm centered around strawberries! These fun, easy-going educational events led by our Farm Educator will impart cooking and gardening skills, and give kids a sense of ‘ownership’ of our newest strawberry patch as they watch (and help) it grow.

On-Farm Summer Workshops

Every summer, LSFP hosts free/low-cost workshops on Rugged Roots farm. Workshops cover a range of subjects- from food preservation to flower arranging. A workshop scheduled is announced at the beginning of the season— stay tuned for our 2025 schedule!
